Republican Presidential Candidate Andy Martin wins New Hampshire battle

NH GOP Chairman Jack Kimball attacked Republican Presidential Candidate Andy Martin in February. Martin responded by saying Kimball was inexperienced, incompetent and out of control. Martin called for Kimball’s ouster and began running anti-Kimball radio ads. Six months later New Hampshire’s leading newspaper, the Union Leader, joined Martin’s call for Kimball to go. “I was right about Jack Kimball. At first people didn’t want to agree with me because I was seen as an ‘outsider’” Martin says. “Now that I have earned the status of New Hampshire’s Favorite Son presidential candidate, people are listening. The Union Leader is listening. Maybe Kimball should start listening.”

Andy Martin responds to an editorial in the Manchester Union Leader calling for the removal of New Hampshire Republican Chairman Jack Kimball

Martin has been seeking Kimball’s removal since February and has been running radio ads attacking Kimball since May

(NEW YORK)(August 19, 2011) New Hampshire Favorite Son Republican Presidential Candidate Andy Martin says that he is delighted the state’s largest newspaper, the Manchester Union Leader, has now called for the removal of New Hampshire Republican Party State Chairman Jack Kimball.

Martin is currently at his national headquarters in New York City.

“Six months ago, out of the blue, Jack Kimball started attacking me and terrorizing New Hampshire Republicans into joining him in trying to demonize my campaign. Kimball based his attacks on a thirty year-old lawsuit which contained some admittedly strong language on all sides. I have been fighting political and judicial corruption since I was a law student and can attest that when you expose and fight corruption, you make enemies, not friends, in the legal system. Judges are often attacking me for embarrassing them. The federal courts are arrogant and corrupt.

“Instead of allowing New Hampshire Republicans to judge my overall merits as a candidate, and my lifetime of public service spanning 45 years, Kimball tried and failed to silence my campaign based on that ancient litigation.

“Much to the amazement of the national media, I have the most organized and coherent presidential campaign in New Hampshire.

“We have been running TV ads since February (you can see the ads on our web page at We have been running radio ads since May. The bulk of the radio ads focused on Kimball’s misconduct, as well as the maliciousness of Kimball’s gal pal ‘Drug Mom’ Jennifer Horn.

“Both Horn and Kimball have been totally discredited locally since my attacks on them began six months ago. Jennifer Horn went so far as to attack me for exposing the corruption and incompetence of President Obama. What’s wrong with her? Both Kimball and Horn were duped by Obama operatives who were trying to undermine my candidacy (see ‘About Andy’ below for the reason Obama attacks me).

“At first, Republican leaders were inclined to believe Kimball’s lies and to ignore my claims of his incompetence. Gradually, as Kimball’s abusive behavior expanded to reach other victims, and as the NH GOP began a steady decline into its current risible condition, Republicans realized I had been right all along.

“The Union Leader has now evaluated Kimball’s leadership and found it wanting (link below). Kimball has to go.

“My campaign continues to grow and continues to serve the people of New Hampshire. All I ask is to be judged fairly on a lifetime of successful public service and not on the basis of Jack Kimball’s malicious falsehoods or isolated litigation taken out of context (by Barack Obama’s supporters).

“As soon as Kimball steps down, I will remove my ads from the airwaves and attempt to reengage constructively with the NH GOP. I just want the party to stop harassing my campaign and treat me fairly and equally on the same basis as all the other presidential candidates.

“New Hampshire Voters can evaluate and judge the merits of my candidacy without any dictation from self-styled bosses such as Kimball. I believe my qualifications for the presidency compare favorably with my more media-favored competitors. But that’s what Favorite Son campaigns are for. I have earned my ‘stars’ as New Hampshire’s Favorite Son candidate by exposing Governor Lynch’s corruption, and by saving more New Hampshire jobs this year than the governor himself. My mother was born in Manchester; I grew up spending summers in the Granite State. Which of the ‘Fox News’-promoted candidates can match that record of political accomplishment and personal attachment to the state?

“As for Kimball, by attacking me unfairly and forcing me to work harder, he made me a better candidate and ensured I would do a better job for the people of New Hampshire. ‘Thanks, Jack, and don’t let the door hit you on the way out. I told you my campaign would last longer than your chairmanship.’”
