(FOREST HILLS, NEW YORK)(June 12, 2011) A maverick Republican presidential candidate with a history of creating and running searing political advertising will hold a Forest Hills news conference today, Sunday to announce he is set to begin airing anti-Weiner attack ads in New York City. Andy Martin has 43 years of TV and radio experience; he has been associated with controversial radio and TV ads that have drawn national attention in the past. Martin has been the principal thorn in the side of President Barack Obama for seven years (see bio below in this release and TV ad archive at http://www.AndyMartinforPresident.com).
Martin’s 1999 TV ad (see links below) which aired on WMUR-TV in New Hampshire created a firestorm of controversy because Martin predicted (in 1999) that Bush was fixated on attacking Iraq. Martin’s 2009-2010 attack ads against Mark Kirk disclosed that the closeted congressman was a military imposter who had fabricated imaginary events and service in Afghanistan (video link below, at 2:50).
Martin has been leading attacks on Representative Weiner since the sex scandal broke; Andy’s campaign has created a “fighting camp” in Queens to orchestrate the removal of the malodorous Mr. Weiner. Martin’s fighting camp continues to investigate Weiner.
Martin is about to announce a national outreach for interns to join his conservative crusade to reform American politics.
Martin’s Forest Hills news conference today, Sunday, June 12th at 3:00 P.M. will provide details of his upcoming anti-Weiner advertising campaign.

“My campaign team is putting together a coordinated ‘strike’ plan to attack Weiner,” Martin says. “This is a bipartisan effort. Republicans and Democrats all agree Weiner should go. Weiner is a disgrace to politics; he is a disgrace to Congress; he is a disgrace to his party. Weiner is a disgrace to democracy. He used his congressional office as a sexual calling card.
“While I don’t usually agree with MSNBC’s Ed Shultz, I have been impressed by Shultz’s demands for Weiner’s resignation. I share MSNBC’s Chris Matthews’ love for the political game. But it should be played honestly and openly, not with importunations on teenage girls. So, yes, my upcoming anti-Weiner TV ads are a ‘bipartisan’ operation.
“I have contacted Rich Ambrose at Time Warner Cable (email available on request) to start buying TV time on Monday. I have also contacted the facility that has done my TV production in the past, WMUR-TV in Manchester, to schedule production time. Finally, we are working on ad copy. Don’t be surprised if ‘Where’s Weiner’ becomes the next national catch phrase.
“Weiner thinks he can go into hiding for a few days and come out ‘cleansed’ and ‘ready to serve.’ The man is delusional. His wife is also delusional. Her behavior is almost as bizarre as Weiner’s.
“We should focus more attention on the ‘victim’ of Weiner’s sexcapades, his absent wife, who is traveling around the world while her husband is reportedly decompensating. What kind of an emotionally detached marriage do these people have? It looks more like a political coupling than genuine matrimony.
“The TV ads are only part of my coordinated plan to remove Weiner from office. While my presidential primary opponents are participating in a bogus CNN ‘debate’ in New Hampshire, I am on the front lines of American politics fighting to remove yet another political crook from office. I have a real track record of exposing political fraud and corruption; my Republican primary opponents do not.
“At a time when Americans have lost faith in politics, I am fighting to restore faith in the political process. I can’t think of a more presidential quality that fighting to rid politics of perverts such as Weiner. Weiner must go; I intend to do everything I can to remove him. My TV ads will take Weinergate to a new level.”
Martin is a former adjunct professor of law at City University of New York; he has over thirty years of experience investigating and exposing congressional imbroglios going back to the Wayne Hayes sex scandal and even earlier House embarrassments.
